Sinuyog Festival
Sinuyog Festival is one of the festival in albay held at Pio Duran, Albay Every second week of March.

Sinuyog is derived from the bicol word Sira (Fish) and Nuyog (Coconut) which the Pio Duranon's main product and source of income.

Sinuyog is celebrated for more that one week and to honor their patron Nuestra Senora de Salvacion. One of their activities includes Street Dance Competition, Float Parade, Color Run and more.
Highlight Activities
Street Dance Competition
Street Dance is one of the most highlight of Sinuyog Festival. It usually starts at the Pio Duran Fish Port and will end at Municipal covered court. The Sinuyog dance contingents are dressed in bright colored costumes dancing gracefully to the rhythm of drums, trumpet and native gongs to celebrate and honor their patronage Nuestra Senora de Salvacion. Thier props for the competition is usually made of bright colored indigenous things such as coconut shells and other stuffs. During the competition lot of people gather to witness and watch the street dance, the best school street dance performer win.
Float Parade
Float Parade is also a highlight event of Sinuyog, Participant of this event decorates a platform built on vehicle like a truck. The float is decorated in indigenous material like dried leaves, hemp, coconut shell and more. The creativity of Pioduranon is most emphasize in this event, the most beautiful and unique float will win.
Color Run
Color Run is also one of the exciting and fun event of Sinuyog festival. People who participate in this event enjoyed walking, jogging and running with the powdered color splashing on their body, this activity is best for friend and family bonding.
